I happened upon this little family winery a bit by accident and I am so glad that I did! I had a great time chatting with one of the owners, Pam, while tasting their wines. It was a warm and inviting experience all around, from the people to the arts and crafts for sale. Such a special treat! Found Freed Estate Winery through Harvest Hosts and we were greeted right away by their very adorable dog Mollie and Mike the owner. Mike showed us the way to our campsite for the night by the river and spent the afternoon telling us wonderful stories while we wine sampled. The Freeds greet you with an Aloha and a hug. It’s a down home wonderful place for families to sit inside or out and enjoy the beautiful mountains.

Great wine and warm, welcoming host and hostess. The aloha spirit is alive at Freed Estate Vineyards. We enjoyed a wonderful variety of excellent wines. Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Viognier, can be enjoyed inside the tasting room or outside on the lanai. We purchased a case of wine before we left. The tasting room also showcases the works of many local artisans. We will definitely return and we highly recommend Freed Estate Vineyards to everyone.

The owners Mike and Pam were very welcoming and charming. There was a really nice variety to the tastings. Their dog Molly was just a treat. The animals in the corral were so entertaining. We will be back for another visit.

Holy moly this is my gold mine! The owner are the sweetest people on this earth and create a very relaxing environment. They are the best story tellers & their wine is glorious! I couldn’t pick just one so i got 4 bottles! The setting is beautiful there is option to air bnb to camp there, or have a weeding a few feet way or painting classes with some wine!
